We verify material claims against primary sources or multiple reliable sources where practical. When a claim cannot be independently confirmed, we label the uncertainty or leave it unpublished.

Attribution and translation

We identify the origin of reported information and link to source material when it is useful and safe. Translations aim to preserve meaning rather than reproduce wording mechanically; the English version is reviewed before publication.

Independence and conflicts

Editorial decisions are made independently. Any relevant personal or commercial conflict that could affect a reader's understanding will be disclosed.

Images and rights

We publish original, licensed or otherwise permitted images and record their creator, source and allowed use in the newsroom.
